- The data clearly say that temperatures are increasing; however, the research that shows human activity is the cause is less than convincing. I have not yet found a paper that has a good means of separating human cause from natural/cyclic changes.

- I guess I see both sides of the argument. There is no arguing that American manufacturing jobs, once the classic blue-collar job, are mostly gone. There is no doubt that there are people, well-qualified and hard-working, who cannot find a job once unemployed.

- I agree with your definition of an earmark, but I still believe the House will draft specific language forbidding the Executive from spending funds to implement provisions of the HCL. Unlike many earmarks, I believe this one will have many sponsors.

- When are people going to admit that the federal government plays a very limited role in job creation and job destruction? Businesses create jobs when the return on investment (ROI) for that job reaches a target number. Corporations have a simple goal: Earn money.

We all know that many Americans don't believe the 'climate change hoax' anymore. We see polls that indicate as much on a regular basis. We read numerous articles showing that fewer and fewer Americans are convinced.
